A platform giving kids an entertaining way to learn all about Nutrition!

PROJECT OVERVIEW

My Role

I was responsible for creating wireframes and the flow of the overall project as well as high fidelity working mockups for both the website and application.

Project Goal & Target Audience

Making sure to design a successful platform that benefits kids to learn all about Nutrition and use the website on their own without parental guidance.

Key Challenges

A main challenge was to keep the language simple to communicate with kids and translate a serious topic such as nutrition into fun learning.

Research Study

Research gave me a deeper look into kids brains, their concentration time span, and their love for the new technological world in order to build a base that would teach but also entertain.

CONCLUSION

Usertesting was a success with kids, they were able to maneuver around the application with not parental guidance. They enjoyed it as it gave them various options for games and methods to learn all about Nutrition.

The parents are an important target audience for us since they will be in charge of their children using this platform, and all gave in quite the positive feedback. They even tested their kids on some nutrition facts and were able to successfully give correct answers meaning that the website is benefiting them positively.
